Prayer for Passing the Board Exam
Update: Just a little clarification, you don’t pray to St. Joseph to help you pass the exam. You pray to St. Joseph to intercede for you to God to help you pass your exam.
All this talk in the blogosphere about people searching for Philippine Nursing Board Exam results made me remember the time I took my own board exam. This was for my Engineering board exam. I passed with flying colors but not without studying my ass off and saying a little prayer to St. Joseph of Cupertino, the Patron Saint for examinees.
It was my mom who taught me this prayer as she knew the stress I was undergoing. The reason behind that was because the exams were nearing and I wasn’t too confident with what my Review School was teaching me. That was after I compared what my other batchmates were learning from the other Review schools. So she slipped me this prayer and told me to pray it for nine days straight and say 3 Our Fathers, 3 Hail Mary’s and 3 Glory Be’s afterwards.
Prayer for a Successful Examination
Oh Great St. Joseph of Cupertino, who while on earth was given the grace of being asked in your examination only the questions you know. Please obtain for me the like favor in these examinations which I am now preparing for. In return, I promise to invoke you and to make you known through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
Its been about 10 years already, but Thank You Again St. Joseph for helping me pass my board exam. My wife gave this prayer to her sister to help her pass her certification so she could work abroad and she too passed. And yes you can use this for any type of exam not just for major one’s. In return of course, please don’t forget to pass this prayer around in honor of St. Joseph of Cupertino.

Update: I just passed my PHP 5 Zend Certification Exam and am now a Zend Certified Engineer. Not bad for only 2 weeks worth of studying, a large part can be attributed to this Prayer, Hard Work (Do your best and let God do the rest) and Faith.
What should you do afterwards? I guess the minimum you can do is to spread this prayer around in honor of St. Joseph. If you want to go further than that, well first, I salute you, for going to the next level of sharing the Grace that you had received from God. I believe that what we have in life all comes from God, and when we give it to those in need, it comes back to us a hundred fold. On my part, I usually have a Thank You Mass said at Church when God had gifted me with a Blessing, aside from that I do other acts of Charity. But please try to do it anonymously and with utmost humility like what Jesus said in the Bible.
Try not to forget also this little blessing from God. So that when you go out in this world you will try to live a moral life. Some choices may be difficult to make, but remember that God always protects and provides for his righteous people. Lastly, kindly remember, that it is our sinfulness that keeps us away from God and the Graces He bestows. But God is always willing to forgive us, if we ask Him to with a contrite heart.

I took my exams last Dec. 2008 and i still haven’t gotten my marks back yet. I don’t really feel confident about them considering i was going in with a not so good marks and i am totally just relying to my faith in God just to help me accept with it and get on with it in case i don’t pass the courses. Also, i believe that God works in mysterious ways and that He can make a miracle and let me pass the courses. Please pray for me, i know there are more major needs out there but thank you God for listening to me. Thank you St. Joseph of Cupertino.

please guide through this cert/exam,insurance billing & coding,its been quite a struggle for me, the test is on thursday ,Dec.18th,2008 @500pm.be with me in spirt as i prepare/study for this exam final. I’m very nerous about this exam,this is the direction I want to go in my life.(Medical Coder for Physcian).please help me allow for me to get on the right track in my life,for this is my career choice in life.

Iwant to give thanks for my son who did pass his Celestial Navigation exam. Now he must repeat 2 exams which he has previously passed. Please intercede for him and help him pass there exams. It’s been the 4th day since i took the last weekend board exam…I thank you that Finally I took the board exam and for giving me oppurtunity….I always think and pray that I do hope to pass the Board Exam…I tried all my best…but there’s one thing that I worry..it’s just all about my erasures…I really wish it would not affect my grade…Thank you Jesus..Thank you St.Jude,Thank you St. Joseph that I found you and being there for me and giving me hope..Pray for us…Love Chona
