God has been good to me…

I just went up to an employee’s supervisor and told him that they should regularize that person… since she does such a great job that helps to fulfill our business requirements…

Simple thing but I know that it will go a long way… so if ever you are pleased with service you received, it would be a good practice to tell his/her boss that you are happy with the way he/she worked…

It seems that both Google and Yahoo are in a hiring binge for talent. Raiding ebay, microsoft and other top companies related to the techie sector.

It even came to the point of Microsoft suing Google, to prevent a Chinese VP from transferring.

I hope this is a good sign of things to come…

I sent an email to my dept. manager… it’s about time I did, I promised to keep in touch with him and it’s been 3 months already… not to mention that my wife has been prodding me all the time about it and I keep forgetting… good thing I have a wife like her to make up for my forgetfullness when it comes to my social responsibilities.

News from him was that he has already left our section and will be assigned for 2 years in the States.

Quite shocking I have to say, but it’s good news for him since in a way it’s a promotion. So I’m happy for the guy. He was definitely the best boss I’ve ever had.
