It was supposed to be a Live Blog, except that wasn’t possible as my SmartBro connection has been erratic for the past 2 days now. Must be because of the rains. Anyway, the NCAA Allstar outplayed their UAAP counterparts as they came back from a double digit deficit to beat the UAAP Allstars.

With that showcase of his dunking prowess, he ran away cleanly with the 2007 Samsung UAAP-NCAA AllStar Weekend Slam Dunk Championship.

UAAP-NCAA Allstar 2007 Samsung 3 Point Shootout

It was the NCAA Champs vs the UAAP Champs in the 2007 Samsung 3 Point Shootout as DLSU’s JV Casio went up against San Beda’s JR Tecson in the finals.

JV Casio took home the title of 3 Point Champ as he fired up 23 pts and went ahead of JR Tecson in the finals match. JR Tecson shot a dismal 6 pts in the finals compared to his 20 pts during the elimination.

UAAP-NCAA AllStar Weekend Samsung 2-3 Ball Competition Results

One of the side events of the UAAP-NCAA All star weekend was the Samsung 2-3 Ball Competition.

Rules of the Game

  1. 60 secs for each team to shoot from marked spots on the halfcourt
  2. Teams must shoot from all the marked spots at least once, Deduction of 2 pts from the final score if you don’t hit on all areas.
  3. No consecutive 2 shots from the same area.
  4. Two highest scoring teams will compete in the Finals.
