According to Michael Kanellos of CNET, Intel has approximately 100,000 employees already… Wow!… that’s approximately 0.0015% of the world population of 6.4 Billion…

Thank you Intel for giving people jobs… especially those in the Philippines :D

If you are able to get 19+ or more answers you are considered a genius.

On the bottom part of the page is a little notice that states that there are some cultural biases (based on the english language and some questions are related to a specific religion) to the questions on the exam. Also that it only tests one’s verbal and linguistic pattern recognition ability, therefore not really showing ones capacity at non linguistic pattern recognition as well as spatial intelligence.

I have to say that I was able to score pretty good because of my educational background, that as an engineer(you just have to memorize those conversion tables:D) as well as my experience in IT…. which makes good use of the stuff being asked… so this has to be attributed to intelligence gained from one’s environment…

Crazy Investments that Worked…

From Fortune Magazine, a list of investments that were deemed absurd in their time, but worked out nicely by making those investors ROI something to gape about….

Notable entries was the recipe for Coca-Cola costing only $2k from it’s inventor… as well as the discovery of oil…

They seem to have forgotten to mention Microsoft’s gambit with IBM, buying an obscure operating system named DOS for 50k that sparked a billion dollar empire…
