My wife sent me this forwarded poem via email. The version I got was chopped up and incomplete, plus the author’s name was misspelled. After hitting the search engines I found the complete poem and a little something about the author.
Dorothy Lawe Holt died in November 6, 2005 at the age of 81. She lived a remarkable life and didn’t seem to profit much from her very well written poem.
A couple of days ago I got to experience a very remarkable spectacle. Right in front of my kitchen window I saw a snake pounce on a frog from behind, devour it then scurry away to safety.

My Wife and Son got to know a Man and his son in the pool area of a resort last Sunday. What were the chances that it would turn out that both boys had the same birthday? and were of half Chinese parentage?… The Father of the boy is a Lawyer and is married to a Taiwanese.
Then again, maybe its not really that spectacular since I got to know 3 people in my life who share the same birthday with me… one was a classmate, the other was an officemate/collegemate and the third was the wife of another officemate.
Still, its something to blog about because its not something that happens everyday. *snicker*
