As 3 Senate committees (energy, agriculture and food, and finance) signed for approval “Sweet” Senate Bill No. 2226 or more commonly known as the biofuels bill… which seeks to establish the Philippine Biofuel Board (PBB), which will implement the Philippine Biofuel Program (use of alternative fuel made from renewable resources). Which includes setting of standards for biofuels and biofuel-blended gasoline and diesel.

At least the $72/barrel of oil helped speed up movement of the bill in the Senate… Wohoo! we’re rolling now
