With privilige comes responsibility… I attended mass today at the Ateneo de Davao University Chapel. I can’t help but be touched by today’s sermon.

The priest talked about the responsibility that one acquires when one is privileged. Since most of those who attended were students, he gave as an example their very existence in the Ateneo.

Some people exaggerate… made me realize, that for them, the world ain’t flat… it’s reverse hyperbolic … *snicker*

comes around… noo nee noo nee noo nee noo… I just had to say that… but that’s not what I have to post on today… that was just me being enlightened again with the intricacies in life…

I sure do miss riding in a motorcycle… I got to experience riding a trisikad… the main means of transportation where I live… it’s basically a bicycle connected to a sidecar… fitted with a pumpboat engine… then in order to give it gas, the right hand brake lever is connected to the carburator of the engine and pulling it induces motion… the transmission is just simply a belt system where the slackness on the belt idles the machine…

The entire thing of course is Darwin in effect… before the pumpboat engine got introduced they were using human power… try biking a kilometer with 3 people onboard?… you’d be crying out for an engine too… hehehe… I have yet to discover who’s brilliant idea this was.

I wonder what force in the universe… could compel a man to drive his car off a cliff… with his wife, his kids, the dog, the cat and a tank load of gas…

Probably the same force that could drive a man to put up an internet cafe in Illustre st… crap!, that place sure has a lot of internet cafe’s… *snicker*
