Great nail bitter of a game in the Finals of the Nike Summer League. ADMU didn’t lead till the last 26 sec of the 4th Quarter. Tiu was spectacular as ever, making the jumper that took the lead.

Ahhh… June… The NBA finals has always been the warm up to the Greatest Show on Earth… Yep, Amateur basketball at its finest: Collegiate Ball… be it the NCAA or UAAP Games, it’s always fun to watch players playing for school honor and pride.

June is special, its that time of the year when your blood turns either yellow, red, green, blue or maroon… *snicker*

Took my son to a basketball court today and showed him how to shoot some hoops. Albeit he couldn’t reach the ring, he did understand what I was doing, and that was to put the ball in the ring. After showing him how to make a free throw and a lay up he immediately tried to mimic what I was doing with the little violet ball he was carrying.

Sta. Lucia Realtors won game 7 versus the Purefoods Hot Dogs, bannered by James Yap and Kerby Raymundo, to take the PBA All Filipino Title.

Given the choice of being with my son before he goes to sleep or watching the pivotal game 7, It was a no-brainer decision.

I heard it was a great game.
