Disconnect
Why is it that each generation will always feel disconnected from another? Why am I thinking this way? Well a couple of days ago I was listening to a popular radio station in Davao when I suddenly had the urge to change the station. I was suddenly in the “What is this crap?” mental mode that my parents once had when the radio in the car was tuned to our radio station. To think that just a few months ago I could still appreciate the music at that station.
I think I crossed another threshold in my life… the point where I start looking for “my generations” music when tuning in to the radio… listening to the music now was like listening to Hardcore Heavy Metal… something I really can’t appreciate…
You know you’re old when the music you like are now played on weekends in segments marketed as “Classic”, “Oldies” and “Goldies”

As for me, feeling bata pa rin ako because I like tuning in to 89.9 where hosts chatter a lot. They give me company in the car. But of course, my all-time favorite is still 98.7 DZFE FM, The Master’s Touch (Classical music station). Hehe.
Hahaha… I hate even more having to listen to talk shows in the morning, where the DJ’s do nothing but talk about themselves. On the commute to work I prefer to listen to music…
