80th Academy Awards
I was disappointed that Johnny Depp wasn’t able to go home with the Best Actor Award in the recently concluded 80th Academy Awards. But not by that much as an equally deserving actor in Daniel Day-Lewis bagged it.
I’ve been a big fan of Johnny Depp ever since he started teaming up with Tim Burton (Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hallow, Ed Wood etc) and been wanting for the longest time for his acting abilities to be recognized by the Academy.
Oh, well, here’s to hoping that he eventually wins it. But like they said, to be nominated is an achievement in itself.
