Look Who’s Standing
Three days ago my wife witnessed my son stand up on his own. Yesterday evening, upon the prodding of my wife, he stood up for me. To which we all clapped for him and he whistled with glee.
According to my wife it all started with the dog knocking on the door to be let in. My son pointed to the door to indicate that he wants the dog to be let in, my wife stood up and opened the door and let my dog in the room. After closing the door behind her, our other dog started knocking to be let in. My wife did an about turn and opened the door again. When she turned to the bed after closing the door she saw my son standing on the bed looking at the dogs on the floor.
Yet another oddity of my son is his not wanting to drink from his milk bottle if it is uncapped. He has this little ritual of opening the bottle by himself.
And that’s what’s happening on the Parenting side of my life, Now back to regular programming.
