Yesterday my son decided to start climbing the grills on our windows, starting with the one in our sala… he nearly reached the top of the ceiling (stepping on his mother’s shoulders) when one of his “ate’s” finally heard his mother’s calls for assistance.

Yep, and with that incident we herald the entry of the “Age of Climbing”…. we were warned by people that this would come… prior to that we were warned about the Age of Standing, then Throwing, Vocal Chord Exercising (translation: screaming) and then walking/running… like they say, babies are just compelled to do those things when the time comes…

Of course the more interesting things he’s learned these past few weeks that weren’t part of the “schedule” are:

  1. Turning “on” a ball point pen then picking up a piece of paper and scribbling on it. He uses his pointing finger to push down on the end or he smashes the end down on the table
  2. Opening the car’s door via the door handle
  3. Picking up a piece of cloth to wipe your mouth whenever somebody sneezes. He also does this to himself whenever he sneezes.
  4. Sticking the digital thermometer in his ear because he saw his Mommy do this to him whenever he is sick.

Parenting is definitely a full time job…
