DLSU Thanksgiving Celebration
DLSU Chancellor, Dr. Carmelita I. Quebengco, announced via a letter to the La Sallian Community, the Thanks Giving Celebration in honor of the Men’s Basketball Team who captured the title for Season 70 of the UAAP Games. The said event will be happen this Thursday, 11 October 2007. Classes for the undergraduate and graduate students will be suspended starting 4:10 PM to allow them to join the celebration.
- 4:15 p.m. Athletes’ Parade
- 5:00 p.m. Eucharistic Celebration - Chapel of the Most Blessed Sacrament
- 6:00 p.m. Salu-salo at the Yuchengco Lobby
- 7:00 p.m. Concert at the Central Plaza
To quote from the letter:
To celebrate the recent victory of our Green Archers in Men’s Basketball Division, and to honor all our athletes who participated in the first half of the 70th UAAP Season, we will have a Lasallian Thanksgiving Celebration on Thursday, 11 October 2007.
The event will also serve as a “send-off” for those who will participate in the second half of the UAAP season and those who will join the Unigames to be held in Bacolod.
