ANIMO LA SALLE!!!!
franz pumaren does it again- making boys play like men, especially when it counts the most.
Another great basketball game from a great team! ANIMO LA SALLE!
@atenista
Better luck next time! Maybe you should let Black play so your team may win the games that matter the most! That is if Black doesn’t get the boot from MVP. He’s being paid a lot of money for nothing! Bwahahaha!
hay nako, no more sourgraping ateneans. tapos na laro nyo, wag ng makialam.
kudos to the archers!!!! one more win! kapit!!!!
women’s basketball champions naman sila e. at least that counts for something….. si phil jackson nalang kaya kunin nila next season?
ANIMO…ANIMO LA SALLE NYO! Yari kayo sa game 2 and 3. Prediction ko game 2 UE beats LA SALLE by 15 points, then game 3 UE gets the crown in overtime by a margin of 8 points (para maganda laban). Ang HEADLINE - UE RED WARRIORS DID IT IN GAME 3 OVER DE LOST SALLE!
ANIMO LA SALLE!
WALA NANG GAME THREE!
SUNDAY IS GREEN DAY!
TAMA NA UE! HANGGANG ELIMS NA LANG UN!
FINALS IS A DIFFERENT STORY…
AND WE SHALL PREVAIL THIS TIME!
NEVER SHALL WE FAIL.. HAIL! HAIL! HAIL!
I guess sobra sobra na ung napakita ng lasalle. Winning the important games and beating an undefeated team in the finals in game 1. Sa akin lng, it wouldn’t hurt that much if la salle didn’t win the championship. Pero of course, sana manalo this sunday! One year bragging rights din un! hehehehe..
Don’t be so sure Archers!
It’s just the First Game!
Remember that RED is more powerful than green hehehe,,, UE RED WARRIORS will BEAT la salle!
You’ll SEE IT!!!hahahaha
Congrats to La Salle for winning GAME 1. It was a great game. Red Warriors, it’s not the end! Show everyone that we can rise up to the challenge and prove that we belong among the best! UE 2-1!!!!
what time po game sa sunday?
Who said red is more powerful than green?
I’ll prove you WRONG in game two!
Animo La Salle!!!
Well.. Okie.. go Prove it
“greenisin” nice knowing you here.. =)
GO UE!
BEAT LaSalle!
Ateneo won 3 out of 5 games against DLSU.
The Warriors will definitely crush the archers!
* blue is the color of royalty *
all i can say to UE and Ateneo is: choke, choke choke. the champs are back! you should have enjoyed last season when La Salle was not around. yung lang nga di kayo champs but chumps hehehe!
Go Warriors.. Tae nka tsmba lng la salle.. wahehehe.. Kya nyo yan.. Sweep nga ng 14 games eh.. Napatunayan n yan.. Panahon ito ng mga Warrioirs.. wahahaha.. Ika nga Spartans.. Don’t Lose Hope Warriors aabot p ng Game # ayn
Game 3 pla.. hahaha.. Ok lng yan..

if you are from DLSU, let’s just be thankful for all the great games we’ve won and wish our team the best …
wag na tayo makipag-yabangan sa ibang schools… sayang lang energy natin dyan .. let’s just focus on supporting our team all the way …
in the end, what matters is that our players gave their best .. = )

@atenista
This is La Salle and UE’s party. So better luck next time para di kayo gatecrasher! Hahaha!
@royal_blood
BLUE IS THE COLOR OF DEFEAT! YOU WERE BEATEN BLACK AND BLUE BY THE ARCHERS!
@royal blood
Yes Ateneo did won 3 out of 5 games against La Salle. But did those games matter the most? Saan ngayun yung team niyo na nanalo ng 3 out of 5? Buti pa yung women’s team niyo nanalo. Maybe you should substitute it for your men’s team?
* blue is the color of defeat *
Ap0calyps375
are you from LaSalle? because you’re a shame to your alma mater. you’re in college already, yet your grammar is so elementary-level.
i concede that in this instance, 2 indeed proved to be better than 3.
but the archers were just plain lucky to have won that last game against ateneo. because when it comes to experience and basketball skills, the blue eagles are definitely superior. 3 out of 5 proves that.
* blue is the color of royalty *
* win or lose, it’s the school we choose *
you just had your game archers. the next two round will be the game of UE.
sobrang yabang na talaga ng la salle.
sobrang mapanakit pa.
who do you think you are? your just rich, but warriors know their atittudes.
sana magpakita naman ng katinuan ang archers.
i was a die hard fan of archers before, yet i transfered my bet to warriors. bakit kamo? dahil sa mga nakikita kong ginagawa ng archers.
masyado kayong mainit, when its just a game.
Luck is for losers. =)
waahh,, warriors!! u cn do it!
we’l pray 4 u!!
gud luck sa game 2!!
we all know that warriors cn beat d archers!!
kming mga ueneans, we don’t care kung mnanalo or mtatalo,, bzta we’l supprt d warriors til d end,,
but archers always rmmber ‘those who humble themselves shall b exalted and those who exalt themselves shall b humbled”..
Congratulations to the Green Archers of DLSU for winning game number 1. May we continue until we claim the most coveted prize…Green white fight! Animo!
@royal blood
If your team has the superior basketball experience and the skills over La Salle, how come your team is not playing in the finals? On the contrary, it was La Sallel’s superior basketball experience and skills that won them that knockout game with Ateneo. So 3 out of 5 does not prove superiority in this case. Actually, Ateneo’s so called superior basketball experience and skills CHOKE under pressure with La Salle’s vaunted fullcourt press that’s why they lost. It’s as simple as that! Lucky? I don’t think that it was luck that won the game for La Salle. It was a 5 point margin of victory so it was not even very close. Where’s the luck in that?
* blue is the color of defeat *
@royal blood
I concede that the teams with the superior basketball experience and skills are the ones playing in the finals (La Salle and UE).
* blue is the color of defeat *
@royal blood
Has Ateneo won over UE this season? What team has tarnished the immaculate record of UE?
* blue is the color of defeat *
I’d say La Salle just got lucky that day, hey, with all the 30 turn overs how come you didn’t score much? The Warriors had given sooooo many chances, how come you just came to a point lead? Isn’t that luck?
Goodluck GreenArchers. Win & bring it home!
true, the UAAP basketball season is such a great opportunity to go all out, below the belt and pick on other schools. let’s face it, who doesn’t have school pride out there? admittedly, ateneo says it best when they sing “Win or lose, it’s the school we choose.”
but objectively, so-called “attitude problems” and school-bashing aside, objectively the DLSU basketball team will win the heart of any true sports/hoops fan/critic anytime. imagine a team coming from a one-year suspension with a lineup comprised mostly of unknown role players barging into the finals by defeating their arch rivals (twice in the most crucial games) who were flaunting a much bigger line up, and taking the first game against an unbeaten, seemingly flawless team. if we keep the discussions focused on sports and basketball, if we just talk of what happened between the four corners of the basketball court, that was an incredible first game win. much credit should go to heart, guts, fighting spirit and franz pumaren’s system.
i’ve stuck it out with the la salle team even through their losing years (remember those consecutive losses in the finals to UST?). that’s the way sports, much less UAAP basketball, goes. bottom line is, as long as it’s a hell of a basketball game, who really cares who wins? (that’s the sports/hoops fan in me talking, not the la sallian.) basta astig yung game, ayos na!!
animo la salle! congratulations to all! yeah. chillax. =)
La Salle proved the nay sayers wrong! Superior basketball experience and skills at it’s best! Congratulations!
ANIMO LA SALLE!!!
* blue is the color of defeat *
waaahhhh….mga kapwa lasalista…ang galing nio!!!
d bez tlga ang la salle!!!
ANIMO LA SALLE!!!!

we’re proud 2 ol of u!!!
we’re alwayz champions!!
ANIMO LA SALLE!!!

Animo La Salle!!!
first 2 is greater than 3 now 2 is greater than 14 lol!!!
To the UE Red Warriors and The Ateneo Blue Eagles, we dip our arrows in salute of your powerful teams, the brand of basketball and great school spirit you displayed in the UAAP season 70. We, La Sallians, celebrate only a grand return into the fray, the spirit of the Green cheering section and the Pep Squad, the Franz Pumaren factor, and the De La Salle Green Archers team’s exceptional execution of the game.
Salamat Ateneo Blue Eagles.
Salamat UE Red Warriors.
Salamat UAAP.
Godspeed Cholo and J-Vee.
ANIMO LA SALLE!
o ano red_guy di ba tama sinabi ko sa comment 42? pero baka nga ako mali…baka nga may game 3 pa…teka ano bang liga talaga kayo kasali??? kasi as of sunday kami ang champions sa 70th uaap season! animo La Salle! 7th championship on the 7th day of the month in hte year 2007. thats what you call destiny!!! amin talaga yung corona. sa inyo yung corona ng patay.
ngayun pinakita namin na kung sino ang tunay na champion. hindi yung nag champion kasi wala yung pinaka malakas na team. championships are won on the hard court not on board rooms.
at sa mga talunan sa 70th season (yes,La Salle lang ang winner. no such thing as first or second runner-up. first loser and second loser lang)kung gusto nyo mag champion eto lang ang suggestion ko sa inyo: pag tulungan nyo nanaman kami i-suspend. because thats the only way you guys will have the chance to fight it out in the championship.
so tumahimik na lang lahat kayo till season 71. but till then kami ang champion at kahit ano pang sabihin nyo na mayabang kami wala akong pakialam. basta chanpion kami!!!!
ps. di kayabangan yung pag sasabi ng totoo =)
till season 71! peace out!
well before i go eto lang comment ko sa comment 61:
1. di kayabangan yung pag sasabi ng totoo (we are the best). the truth hurts but it is still the truth.
2. do not use the words of god in vain. yan puro ka kasi quote nga quote sa bible natalo tuloy kayo.
3. pag konsuleo de bobo lang yung nag sasabi about being gracious in victory or defeat. pag talo eh di talo wag na hanapan pa ng silver lining or strenght.di nakaka inspire ang pag ka talo
ah okie… hehehehe
very well said!
CONGRATZ LA SALLE!
Its like a fairy tale
Animo La Salle!!!!!!!!
I’m from UE but I chose the green to be the champ because I don’t like most of the attitude of the student here in UE can’t humble themselves, It doesn’t mean you won 14-0 you’re going to be the champion. But one thing there in La Salle, I’ve just went yesterday in general admission in La Salle side asking who’s the Finals MVP and Somebody shouted Loser to me “Ok na Sana la sale I taught humble lahat ng lasallista but then parepareho lang “
But anyway congrats pumusta archers pumusta ako sa la salle to my professor. And they just did their job.
Sa San Beda Alabang 2004 physci sorry nag drop out ako bumalik samin confidential kasi
you will only know something from failures.
what’s with the 14-0 sweep by UE? if we beat them twice in the finals!
And never shall we fail,
Hail to thee our Alma Mater!
Hail! Hail! Hail! Animo La Salle!
congrats to the Green Archers!
I am grad from UE, Eng’g dept. And yeah I felt too bad for our loss. I was sadden by the fact that their inexperience in the finals affected them too much that they performed really bad in their two games. Nevertheless, I’m still proud that they made it that far. Never did I boast on their 14-0 run, I know they are really good but things just happen for a reason, especially when it’s not meant to happen. There’s still next year, it was a nice game, La Salle went tough on UE but I know they will do their best next time. Congrats La Salle for winning and Congrats UE for your 14-0 run.
Just a comment to shagg.
Sweety, first and foremost I doubt if you are indeed a grad/student of La Salle. With the way you deliver your thoughts it’s just a pity that you, someone who keeps claiming to be a Lasalista, keeps babbling about winning, with you it sounds more of WHINING. And the fact is, no school in their right mind would want you guys suspended, it was YOUR school who gave up the championship (’06) when they found out about the illegal activities of your players. So, stop whining, be proud of your school without lashing your twisted tongue. God Speed UE, Congrats La Salle.
regarding the finals, it was really heartbreaking for UE, what with their 14-0 feat then losing in the first two games of the championship, not even forcing a 3rd game. sabi nga ng marami, “sayang!” for La Salle, well, to quote a PDI article, it’s obvious “Ateneo pushed it to be at it’s best. And the Archers did gain momentum at the right time after an UNIMPRESSIVE start that includes a BLOWOUT LOSS to UE and BACK-TO-BACK SETBACKS to the BLUE EAGLES.” so i guess the magic_arrowhead is right to thank the blue eagles. I mean, all the sportscasters agree that Ateneo really pushed the archers to their limit (no pun intended), they repeatedly said that during the finals, and the inquirer article i quoted just proves that. nobodycarreeeez said it right, it is indeed like a fairy-tale for La Salle, because no one really expected them to be the champions (well, except for themselves). To quote shell, “admittedly, ateneo says it best when they sing Win or lose, it’s the school we choose…” =)

pinky, kung alam mo lang how green blooded i am you’ll be shocked. punta ka sa zobel and there’s a building named after our family. so i guess i have right to claim i am a typical la sallista. ya i sound like im mayabang…to those na natatamaan. and besides, di ba lagi nyo stereo type la sallistas as mayabang? so whats the surprise now? im just living it up to your expectation. but for us who can relate, its just telling the truth and rubbing it in.
and yeah, better look up what whining means . maybe you’ll understand the difference between it and bragging and rubbing it in.whining is what you guys have been doing with all your consuelo de bobo bullshit. winning is what we do. we sit out the suspension and beat the crap out of the other schools in the hard court.
yup masakit talaga to come short. but thats life. and you know what, the more you keep making consuleo the bobo about how great your 14-0 run was eh talagang di kayo mag cha chanmpion. kasi 14-0 does not count. its the chanpionship that matters.
@ shagg
You sure rubbed it in. TYPICAL LASALISTA! hahahahhahaha ENJOY the CROWN.. hope you don’t choke though..
@ shagg
Nobody cares if there’s a building named after your family, it’s not yours anyway. And such a green blood requires respect for others as well.
@ PinKisH
respect is earned.
14-0 then losing the championship doesnt earn my respect. di ako bilib sa chokers.
at lalo na ko di bilib sa taong naniniwala na they did a great job in having a winning streak then losing it in the end.
kaya kayo di rinerespeto eh kasi nag mamagaling pa kayo sa 14-0 kahit na di kayo nag champion in then end. gusto nyo kasing palabasin tsamba panalo namin. but pinky, its not the battles that matters its winning the war.
if only the players of la salle will read all of your thoughts shagg, they’ll be dissappointed on what you’re saying. such a pity for la sallista that have the same personality as you. no hard feelings, your just bragging actually about yourself. and not with them. GOD BLESS,, =)
our family doesn’t have any buildings or structures in any la salle campus at all, but i come from a long line of true-blooded and distinguished lasallians. and i will be the first, even during family gatherings, to protest and express disgust at illogical, shameful and exaggerated school-bashing.
i remember way back during one of those DLSU-UST championship games when i’d cringe in shame at the signs and chants my fellow lasallians armed themselves with against the UST community in attendance.
i’m proud to have been educated in an excellent system from prep to graduate school, but ranting and raving opinions about being “The Best” inevitably ends up hitting other schools (and their students/ graduates) below the belt. if i really do fell and believe that la salle is “The Best” (in basketball, education, etc.), then i would carry that belief and feeling in me with PRIDE and CLASS. that’s what being winners and being “The Best” is really all about.
basta, tama na yang mga payabangan na walang kwenta. it was a great championship run for DLSU (and Zobel!) and a ton of excellent games that made this one hell of a UAAP basketball season.
Well said shell!
@ shagg
you’re definitely not like the typical lasalista.
i’m a lasalista myself, and my name’s gregory zobel. but do i brag that a whole campus is named after my family? NO! i just had to point that out because of your pathetic claim that by having a building named similarly to your family name, that makes you a true lasalista. definitely not.
i’m ashamed of you, you’re a disgrace to the DLSU name.
hahai!! kung sino ang napago siyang pinagpapala
cnuo nnlo??
LA salle o UE/??
i hopE DLSU won in bASKETBALL
