Thank You for All the Hits!
Stats just in from Sitemeter and it showed that yesterday’s live blog of the DLSU vs ADMU knockout match for second place brought a whopping 70,558 visitors and 101,959 page views [click on image to view].
I was expecting the same amount of traffic from the live blog of DLSU vs UE in the second round which got 24,000 visitors. To my surprise and delight when it got almost 3 times as more. Thank You Very Much to All Those who visited the site to keep tabs on the basketball game.
Again I am very thankful that the server held together. I am also half expecting my host to send me an email already telling me that my account will be suspended because I am already exceeding my CPU usage… Hope that doesn’t come true, or I get by till just the end of the UAAP season…*snicker*…
I am also happy that the little live blogging program I made didn’t crash from the load of the traffic when it tried to do its updates… if you were up for performance evaluation I’d give you an “Exceeds Expectations” grade… hehehe
