UAAP Traffic Onslaught: 24,000 Visitors in One day
The official figures are in. According to sitemeter (click on image on the left) I received an amazing 24,412 visitors and 52,224 page views for today’s live blog of the UE vs DLSU basketball game. What can I say? Filipino’s just love their basketball, especially UAAP games.
A lot of the traffic was referred by the forums of Candymag, Archerpride, PinoyExchange and Gameface. My Deepest Thanks to those who dropped by.
Despite the fact that the Green Archers lost against the Red Warriors, I’m still grinning from ear to ear. Primarily because this site passed the test of being able to withstand that kind of traffic. What I’ve learned from this little experiment will definitely go a long way.
To think that a few weeks ago I was celebrating this blog’s 20,000 hit and just lookee where we are now. A couple more live blogs like this and I just might make 100,000 hits before the end of this year… God Willing!
