ue.pngThe University of the East Red Warriors made it rain three’s all afternoon long against the Up and Coming FEU Tamaraws. Would you believe they shot 63% of their 3’s in the first half?, then capped it off with a 50% 3pt shooting accuracy for the game. They went on to win 89-60.

Don’t be fooled by the 29 pt lead at the endgame though as the lead went as high as 39 pts at one point in the fourth. The announcers never finished their database query though on whether 39 was the highest ever scoring margin in the UAAP.

The first opening shots of the first quarter had UE going up by 4-0 then FEU answered back with a 5-0 burst of their own. Anybody Coach Dindo put in would score. I think they were down to 3rd stringers come the fourth quarter as there were shots made from people I’ve never seen play before.

UE further cemented their reputation as the top team for Season 70 of the UAAP Senior Mens Basketball with this very convincing win. Gregorio was the best player of the game for UE as he scored 22 pts, made 4 rebounds, dished 3 assists and completed 1 steal. Surprisingly the promising players of FEU were held silent for this game, a testament to the defense of UE.
