The first round meeting of DLSU and UE, coached by brothers Franz and Dindo Pumaren, had Franz footing the bill for tonight’s family dinner. Brother Dindo Pumaren steered the UE Red Warriors to a 20 pt win against his older brother’s Green Archers. 96-76 was the final score.

The previous meeting of these two teams was in the Nike Summer League Semi Finals where DLSU edged out UE by 3 pts to barge into the finals. DLSU eventually went on to win the Finals against a “Rookie” laden FEU squad.
