June 16: Pug Club of Davao’s Pimp your Pug Contest
Yesterday evening we had our organizers meeting and looks like everything’s set for the first ever Pug Costume Contest in Davao hosted by the Pug Club of Davao. It’s going to be held at the Matina Town Square at 4PM on the 16th of June (Saturday). Prizes will be given to the top 3 winners and consolation prizes to some lucky pugs.
The contest is open to anybody who has a pug or even a half-breed pug. Of course don’t forget to dress up your pug in a costume. Handlers are not required to be in costume, just the pooch. Costumes don’t have to be store bought, if you’re strapped for cash, get some used clothing and let your imagination run wild in creating a costume.
There is no registration free to join the contest and neither is there an entrance fee to watch the show. In fact, everybody is welcome to watch the event. The invite especially goes out to dog lovers and aspiring dog owners who are still deciding on whether to take the plunge to becoming a full fledged dog owner.
