I just love the smell of Indelible Ink in the morning
That’s the smell of “Democracy” Baby!….I don’t know what they’re harping about in the news that the indelible ink in Davao City could be easily removed by water, I tried removing that offensive swab with everything short of paint thinner… and its still there…
Except for the fact that I didn’t know where my precinct was because the precinct no. given to me was wrong. Which therefore sent me in a wild 1 hour tour of my neighborhood and I ended up in the first precinct that I went to where they found my name in the list of transferee’s… The elections went well for me…
Quite historic for me too as this is the first time for me to vote in my hometown… compared to my previous precinct which seemed to house the entire population of my Municipality, where voters would queue just to vote… my current precinct was sparsely populated and quiet… not to mention that you’d get a chance to know your election officials on a more personal level…

The precinct number on my registration form was 454A3. When I got to the precincts at 8:30, the closest that I saw was 0454A. My name wasn’t on the voter’s list. I have been anxious for days because when I tried to use the Comelectxt, my name wasn’t found. I went to the voter’s assitance desk. I was in line for about 5 mins. My name was entered in the computer and my new precinct number was 0454D. (D is the new A3) I was out of there by 9.
That basically summed up what happened to me too…
mine got off easily. hhehehe… it did not even last for a day. my precinct was in ma-a national high school.
Hmmm…bad batch of indelible ink eh?
