Evolution…
When I was courting my wife, I would call her by her first name and she would call me by mine… a year into our relationship I was calling her by my pet-name for her and she would be calling me by her pet-name for me… come marriage and I was still calling her by her pet-name and she was calling me by her pet-name for me… now my son comes along and as if automatically I started calling her “Mommy” and she started calling me “Daddy…”
Go figure why this sudden change of handles occurred sporadically… which leads me to conclude…that once our son has kids of his own, I might start calling my wife “lola” (grandmother) and she would start calling me “lolo” (grandfather)
And no, my real name isn’t “Hoop” it’s just a handle I use on the internet, likewise with Hoop Jr…. *snicker*

Bai, ginagawa mo naman kameng Conyo… eh di hamak na indio lang kame… hehehe… still, am partial to my son calling us “Tatang” and “Mamang” *snicker*

From what I know it’s Ama (Lola) and Aye (Lolo), because that’s what my wife called her grandparents
