Come fly with me, lets fly lets fly away
If you can use, some exotic booze
Theres a bar in far bombay
Come fly with me, let’s fly let’s fly away

Come fly with me, let’s float down to Peru
In llama land, theres a one man band
And he’ll toot his flute for you
Come fly with me, let’s take off in the blue

Once I get you up there, where the air is rarefied
We’ll just glide, starry eyed
Once I get you up there, I’ll be holding you so near
You may hear, the Angels cheer - because we’re together

Weather wise its such a lovely day
Just say the words, and we’ll beat those birds
Down to Acapulco bay
Its perfect for a flying honeymoon - they say
Come fly with me, let’s fly let’s fly away

I just realized that my son likes Frank Sinatra and the song “Come Fly With Me.” Evenings are usually Daddy and Son time wherein I talk to him and serenade him with songs in an attempt to get him to talk (too early huh? *snicker*) or make the most gibberish of sounds… he didn’t care for New York New York and My Way… but when this song came on (sung by yours truly *snicker*)… he was cooing as excitedly as can be…

Who knows, maybe he wants to be a pilot?… or maybe it’s because it’s the least tonal deaf rendition of a song that I ever sung to him*snicker*… he’s just like his grandfather… that guy loved Frank Sinatra so much… he had his entire Frank Sinatra collection in the car… guess you know who owned the radio whenever we went out together… *snicker*
