Child Rearing can make Men Smarter…
It was tested on tree dwelling monkeys… the marmoset, who’s male monkey’s spend 70% of their time taking care of their young… and the researcher disclosed that it wasn’t directly concluded in their tests that human father’s actually get smarter but other research have concluded increased mental activity in humans… what they said however is that this data could help be a justification for having one’s paternity leave extended…
I can just see myself telling my boss, make my paternity leave longer and I can guarantee to be more smarter when I come back… I’d like to ask also, if the male marmoset’s are spending 70% of their time taking care of the kids, where are the mothers? … *snicker*
