Learning Golf…
In my 3rd year of college I called up my dad and sort of mentioned that I wanted to learn golf… my dad being an avid golfer himself sent me a set of golf clubs a few weeks later… second hand bought from one of the tito’s… when I came home to Davao he immediately set me up to learn the game from one of the golf pro’s here in Davao… I think I paid him something like 50 40 bucks per lesson and I spent afternoons wacking balls over the driving range with a 7 iron… my dad didn’t want me using a glove whenever I swung so that I would grow calluses in my fingers (he wanted me to be like him, who didn’t play with a glove)… the result was that it would halt my golf lessons till my blisters would heal… so far no calluses… the bad thing too was that the inactivity would cause me to lose whatever swing I’ve gained during those driving range sessions….
