Clutch Moments Part 2
Was finally able to fix my clutch cable yesterday… what would have cost me Php 900.00 and a week long wait for the part to arrive from manila came down to just Php 500.00… I raided the surplus shops for the clutch slave cylinder and found 3 others like it… initially they were charging me 700 because it had the complete housing, I got the one with the knocked off screw hole since all I was after was the plunger…
It took me a while longer since it turns out that the clutch master’s replacement plunger was also defective… I returned the old one since there was nothing wrong with it in the first place… I have to wonder if those who are in the clutch repair kit business are still in business? considering that I’ve never met a non original clutch repair kit that worked…
I even found a 4A-FE with fuel injection and automatic transmission for sale for just 15k… I just love raiding junk shops… *snicker*
