Last Friday I barely got home with an on-again mostly off-again clutch cable… the past few days I’ve been borrowing my mother’s car because I needed the four wheel drive… so when I got my car back I noticed that the clutch was riding kinda high… I asked her after I got back to the house if her driver had anything fixed with my car… turns our he had bought a clutch repair kit and had the clutch master changed… “uh ok” I said…

This is one way to kill Davao City Tourism… some guests of ours landed in the Davao International Airport and were going to take a cab to our house… the taxi’s were charging them 800.00 for the ride… whoa! I don’t remember our house being in Digos, I asked them what particular taxi so we could complain to the operators… he said, all of them when he moved from one lined up taxi to another…

wow! conspiracy among the taxi drivers at the international airport… they didn’t want to put up their meters but rather wanted to pay a fixed rate…

Our guest ended up taking a van which charged them P400.00…

As a Davaoeno I feel ashamed for guests visiting this great city of ours… We should have a visitor complaint booth at our airport…

On the way back from another long drive I was musing with my fellow co-worker howcome the drive home seems much longer than the drive going there…

It must be a state of mind with me… one of those weird paradigms that I have to shake off… or maybe because after an hour or two of walking up and down hilly slopes makes one feel exhausted and impatient?… *snicker*

My boss asked me to go down south for some research work last week and left his driver and vehicle for me to use… I just nodded but already planned to drive down there instead… it was an hour and a half drive…

I got surprised when his manager texted him asking if he she could use his driver and vehicle since I wasn’t using them on which he hurriedly asked why I wasn’t using his service… to which the manager who was sitting 3 ft away from me asked me what she should answer back at him…
