The odds are 99 to 1 for a boy…
A soon as my wife got free from the ultrasound machine I was busily texting away… “95% sure that out baby is a boy”… after which my wife corrected me; that the doctor retracted her statement by saying that she was now 99% sure after the baby folded HIS legs to make his *ahem* more visible to her… *snicker*
Before that, while waiting in line there were already a lot of text messages from relatives asking us what the sex was.. on which we said that we were still in line… my mother-in-law said that it was a boy because she dreamed about him… my sister-in-law said that she felt it was a boy (I usually don’t doubt her because she’s psychic *snicker*)… my mother of course wants a girl (Hah! tough luck *snicker*)…
We of course wanted our first born to be a boy too… Nice to know too that he is healthy… the reason we took so long in our line is because there were a lot of couples before us who had complicated pregnancies and therefore needed more time on the ultrasound machine… which made me and my wife think, is it this hard to have a normal pregnancy? And we were thankful that our baby’s development is normal…
Well no matter what he looks like, thinks or acts, all we pray for is that He is normal and healthy… so that he gets a fair shot at start of his life…
