La Salle Banned 1 year from the UAAP
*Ouch*… for voluntarily admitting that they had fielded in two ineligible players…
oh well, looks like July till October is are going to be a boring months for me… *snicker*
I wonder what the next moves are… as well as how the UAAP board was able to prove that there was complicity on La Salle’s part.
Update: Turns out La Salle was suspended because of neligence, by not finding out that the two players had submitted falsified documents. So no complicity verdict on the part of La Salle. The sad thing about this suspension is that the entire sports programs is banned and not just the basketball team.

UAAP’s exciting because of DLSU and Ateneo. Without DLSU this time, I agree, it’s gonna be somewhat boring. Sorry about the other schools, ha? I’m sure there will be fewer watchers/viewers this season. Possibly, sponsors too.
shift to ncaa. arriba!
@abaniko
yeah, that’s one thing too I’m interested in finding out… about how much the league revenue will be affected.
@vince
I wish it were that easy, but DLSU bolted that league in the 80’s and I don’t know if they’ll welcome them back. Not to mention what will happen to the CSB Blazers if DLSU joins that league. And by the time that the application is approved, the suspension would have probably passed already.
Thanks for dropping by
i agree that DLSU is one, if not spicest among UAAP teams.
BUT IT’s A SHAME.
Yup, it’s such a shame. I mean, it’s all about school pride. How can you be proud of your school if it didn’t do the right thing? Needless to say, this makes me sad. I’m from Ateneo and UAAP is definitely going to be less interesting without La Salle…
Hi Maggie!, thanks for dropping by…
As a La Sallite…I’m proud that La Salle returned the trophy and admitted that they unintentionally fielded ineligible players… but if they hid their error, I would be mightily disappointed with them *snicker*
:D
