Actually not today, but yesterday….

1 year in Davao already… wohooo… this is the longest we’ve ever stayed in this great city (that i’ve had serious linear conscious thought)… then again, that is before tomorrow comes.. *snicker*

Those who left Marco Polo Hotel when it started raining… had to walk 1.5 kilometers in the downpour to their car… only to find out that their right rear tire is flat… and finding out 5 min later that their tire wrench is crap… by which time they’re already soaked like hell… had to walk a little bit farther till they found a vulcanizing shop… by this time has about what feels like 5 gallons of iced tea and coffee swimming in his bladder… only to find out that his rear tire is crap and can’t be repaired… though lucky to still have a spare… then finally had to drive home in the strong rain at 30km/hr traffic with a full bladder and topless?…

I had the car fixed today because it was already scheduled to have it’s oil changed. I also asked them to check the brakes because I wanted to know how thick the pads were. It was a good thing too because it turns out that my front brakes were nearing the end of its usable life. (old brakes on the left, new brake pads on the right)
