Wins and Loses
This weeks score card…
Wins:
- My sleep cycle is on track again, waking up in the morning and sleeping early, 10-ish…
- The anti-sigatoka medicine we introduced into the bananas is kicking in, even with the extensive daily rains, infestation isn’t as bad as 2 weeks ago *wohoo!!!*
- The local IT company’s software project I’m consulting for isn’t as delayed as we initially thought to be, just placed the guys on a proper documentation strategy as well as fine tuned their feedback procedure… cool!, not a single line of code was typed from my end…*snicker*
- Dogs vaccination shots are now up to date
- No weird food craving from my pregnant wife… hehehe
- Cool weather all around
- Cleared the field, will be able to add an additional 25 heads of bananas… cripes where am I going to get bananas?
- Putting on too much poundage with this closeted life stye; spent viewing the field, studying accounting/inventory principles and field testing opensource programming languages.
- Our sucker prunning cycle is screwed up, we delayed too much the date of allowing suckers to grow… this will put a huge gap in our production cycle… Suppossed to be, once the mother tree reaches 5 months, you can allow a single sucker to grow to take the place of the mother plant once the fruit is harvested… do I hear “negligent boob?” *snicker*
- General Santos business trip is pushed out to next week due to stakeholder availability… shucks, I was hoping to get a glimpse of the Pac-Man, next week he won’t be there because he’s going abroad for the Brian Viloria fight, pardon the fan-boy mode *snicker*
- Chi, the chihuahua has an allergic reaction to something…not sure if it was the anti-rabies shot he was given… poor thing is scratching like crazy, had to give him some antihistamine
On a side note, I have this bad feeling that we are going to miss our schedule for the banana’s to start shooting by march *cringe*
