Netcraft Web Summary is bullish for February
Yup, we still have a bullish domain name market, with an increase of 933K from last month’s totals… which pegs the entire enchilada to 76,184,000 active sites….
Which leads me to ask the question… do we still have enough top level domain names up for grabs? eventually there won’t be enough combinations for domain names out there because of limitations in the human language… by that time I’m predicting that new domain name registration will be something akin to oil… expensive as the stuff runs out… but not side-stepable… all ICANN has to do is create a new domain extension…. vanity wise, today might be a good day to register that “alkajdlksjlajflasflaslflasjl.com” domain you’ve been longing for before somebody grabs it ahead of you…*snicker*…
Which leads me to think, that now would be a good time to register a new domain name given the performance of our currency… Php 51 - $1 dollar has just been breached… that could spell a lot of savings…
