De La Salle University has submitted to the UAAP board a request for Leave of Absence for next years Sr. Men’s Basketball tournament…

This is in light of the reforms that has to be done to it’s basketball program because of the recent admission of the school that it unknowingly fielded 2 ineligible players. The request will be taken under deliberation at the succeeding board meeting, because technically one cannot choose to not participate in UAAP mandatory sports, such as basketball and volleyball.

Wow, so Google is really out to challenge Microsoft’s dominance in the operating system business, by attempting to create it’s own operating system based on the popular Kubutu Linux distro… now that’s something aimed at Microsoft’s jugular…

Then again, it could be Google just attempting to cut down it’s operating costs by creating its own OS for internal use in order to stave off high licensing prices… but we all know that usually what Google makes for internal use gets served out to the public…
