Afterwards I was wondering why it sounded oh so familiar…turns out Jaypee posted almost the same thing on my blog comments…

hehehe… I feel like such a parrot…

So once again Davaoeno’s welcomed the New Year without any loud fire crackers exploding… I have to say that it is quite amusing, considering that a few years back while watching the news , I would see hospital scene’s with guys who blew some body part off due to an unhealthy mix of firecrackers and stupidity… today however, I’d see jail scenes of people who were caught exploding firecrackers…

One time cops even rushed our house because they thought we were exploding firecrackers… of course the neighbor’s were the one’s doing it… and it didn’t look believable that a 50+ year old woman, living alone in a house full of dogs, with a heart condition and high blood pressure would be playing with firecrackers…

Not that I’m complaining about this policy, because some local folk have gotten quite offensive when it came to firecrackers, throwing it at innocent passersby. Lucky is the passerby who just got a scare, the unfortunate one’s would get burns…
