No Place Like Home…

Ok Ok… so we just have to be the only City in the Philippines not experiencing a noisy Christmas because of our FireCracker Ban brought about by our loving Mayor…

But who cares… the fruits are at an all time low (P12.00 for a kilo of bananas, pomelos for P45/kg), chicken at Php 87/kg, beef at Php 140~170/kg and Pork at P120/kg…

Father Campos, the Ateneo De Davao’s University Chaplain, summed it up pretty good when he welcomed all the OFW’s back during the Mass at the ADDU gym…

There is no other place you can find this than in Davao…

Family and a sense of belong-ingness that is… doesn’t hurt that food is cheap, infrastructure and communications are same as Manila… you’re not more than 15 min from the beach… or if you prefer white sand, just a 5 min boat ride away… hey did I mention that typhoons never cross us?… but we do get strong rains which are quite friendly to our agriculture…

I just love living in Davao…
