I just love used book’s stands… on a lucky day, you might pick a good find… which I did… for P150.00 ($2.70)
Inside Out, Microsoft - In our own words… a coffee table book which commemorates 25 years of Microsoft. From 1975 to 2000… quite an interesting book as it has articles written by Microsoft employee’s about the company from within those years…
On a sidenote… even Kai Fu Lee is there… now more popularly known as the guy who transferred from Microsoft Research(China) to Google and then got embroiled in a legal dispute between the two companies with regards to his none complete clause…
On a happier note, fast forward 5 years… Microsoft is now 30 years old… it’s nice to see how a company has grown and weathered the storms that crossed it’s path… you try to draw inspiration from that… what I’ve learned is that it really takes back breaking work and a dream in order to succeed…
