Netcraft posted a promo(?), wherein if you report a site that is suspected of phishing you automatically get a ticket entry in their raffle to win an Ipod…
In order to do this you’ll have to install their toolbar into your browser… once a site is reported via the toolbar and is deemed responsible for phishing, it get’s blocked from other users who have installed the netcraft toolbar…
Signs of Web 2.0? where in people are taking back the web… the responsibility of safeguarding the greater community will be a social movement and not a program running on a pc?
On a side note, I wonder if this contest is open to people outside of the US?
