White Wedding…
I came from a wedding today… a family friend…
What would have been a nice wedding sorta got ruined by a deranged lady screaming a discourse on why the couple shouldn’t get married… sighting her own troubled family life as an example and punctuating the monologue with invectives…
Initially I thought it was one of those “speak now or forever hold your peace” scenarios in a wedding, internally I was thinking “what the hell did the groom do now” and “Wow I actually get to experience this?” then one look back and upon seing her ragged attire and upon hearing what she had to say, made me realize that the poor old woman was infact crazy.
That bad incident was soon forgotten as we got to the reception. The reception was held at sunny point in Ma-a road. The name of the place was methaporical to the mood it held. Everybody there was bright and bubbly. Not to mention that the two hosts treated it like a game show… egging everybody for more audience participation… It was indeed like being in a variety show… all in all it was a great reception because of the place and the program they made… I’d give it a thumbs up for those looking for a good place to hold a reception… hey did I mention that the food tasted great? well now I did
