Typeshop…
While waiting for my wife to finish her seminar, I went out to have the car’s oil changed… it got finished quickly so I decided to spend some time at the Victoria Mall in the Bajada area… there I found this little shop in a corner knook selling old refurbished typewriters… The going price for the classics was somewhere between Php. 2.5~3.5k.
Well it sure brought back some memories.
This model I actually learned to type with… my dad had this genius of an idea to have all of us siblings take typing lessons when he found out that another brother of mine was being taught typing in school… well, it didn’t bother him either that I was still in the second 1st grade at that time… but I have no regrets on that one as I sure type fast right now… hehehe
This model was what I was using in my 2nd year highschool typing class… ahhh the endless supply of bondpaper that one had to bring…
This one I just fell in love with, just like what any young and upcoming successful novelist would have used. Reminds me of the time I wanted to be a writer and spent so much time behind that IBM selectric. Madly typing away poetry and an unfinished novel talking about I don’t know what… maybe if I can poney up the 2.5k I’d go ahead and buy it… just to remind me of things I’ve wanted to do accomplish before…

pero di nila alam, kodigo na yung tina-type mo.
hahaha
naalala ko pa yung papel na puti na pang bura ng mga maling type… ngayon pa backspace backspace nalang… hehehe
