Hand of God…

The rains were very strong last night. All everybody from work could talk about this morning was how strong the rains were that it too was felt in the downtown area… then again 14 km from my place of work to the downtown area shouldn’t be classified as far by Manila standards…*snicker* …

So strong in fact that it fell this big acacia beside our house…

Funny, because I was thinking how to plant banana’s around it’s trunk in order to maximize the space… I really wanted to cut it down but was hesitant given the age of the tree … guess that solved our problem… :-D

So why do I call it the Hand of God? aside from my prayers being answered, a few of my banana’s got their positions mis shaped, but none of them got bowled over… not to mention that I got some of my plants leaves shredded, but those bananas were the Japanese export variety that I found mixed with the lot I bought. I ended up planting them because I felt that these guys deserved an equal shot to live… hehehe

Thank You Lord!
