The rains were very strong last night. All everybody from work could talk about this morning was how strong the rains were that it too was felt in the downtown area… then again 14 km from my place of work to the downtown area shouldn’t be classified as far by Manila standards…*snicker* …

So strong in fact that it fell this big acacia beside our house…

What goes around…

comes around… noo nee noo nee noo nee noo… :-D I just had to say that… but that’s not what I have to post on today… that was just me being enlightened again with the intricacies in life…

I sure do miss riding in a motorcycle… I got to experience riding a trisikad… the main means of transportation where I live… it’s basically a bicycle connected to a sidecar… fitted with a pumpboat engine… then in order to give it gas, the right hand brake lever is connected to the carburator of the engine and pulling it induces motion… the transmission is just simply a belt system where the slackness on the belt idles the machine…

The entire thing of course is Darwin in effect… before the pumpboat engine got introduced they were using human power… try biking a kilometer with 3 people onboard?… you’d be crying out for an engine too… hehehe… I have yet to discover who’s brilliant idea this was.
