In need of a haircut already, I decided to prowl the streets of the downtown area for a cheap barbershop. I wanted to stay away from those 50 bucks ($0.89) beauty parlors because they take such a long time to cut my hair even though they were so more easily accessible.

I saw my aunt who was heading home while walking in the sidewalk, so I brought her to the jeepney stop so that she wouldn’t be alone while trying to catch a ride home. Sure enough near the jeepney stop was a barbershop offering haircuts for 20 pesos… yup you heard that right, 20 pesos ($0.35)

Being the cheapskate that I am, I decided to snap up the very reasonable offer. So what did I surmise from the experience? Well, definitely you get what you paid for.

1 week has passed since we started our business… my life has been on afterburners since then… I can’t help but notice…

1. I can’t see my tummy anymore… from all this laborious work…
2. I’ve lost my appetite… being around food all the time can actually do that to you… go figure?
3. I’ve heard from a friend via email that the project we were working on already landed into production… wow, this late already huh?… but it’s great to finally see the efforts of people being rewarded… I wish I was there to have helped see it through… alas, it was not meant to be…
4. I’m actually coding something in VB again… *happy*
5. I’ve gone around this great city of mine via public transportation (jeepney rides)… left *Dad* in the parking lot and decided to go natural when I do my errands… I get around faster, cheaper (7 bucks only) and don’t have to worry about parking… not to mention I get to learn the secret alleyways that only jeepney drivers know… *snicker*…
6. My blog posting has been sparse…
7. Antacids & menthol candies are once again part of my breakfast menu and daily diet.
8. My Alma Mater is in the UAAP Basketball finals… edging out Ateneo to book a seat in the finals game versus FEU… Go La Salle!!!
9. I’m up at 8 AM…
10. God is really Great
