NCCC’s Evil Twin…
I’ve blogged about New City Commercial Center in Matina Davao City, as the best grocery mall in Davao City. Well, not all NCCC’s are the same. Because all praises I heap on NCCC’s Matina branch, goes the exact opposite for their Uyanguren branch found at Lizada St.
I have to say that maybe when they started the Matina Branch they decided to correct what was wrong with the Uyanguren branch. The aisles are so dark and narrow, it’s quite common to keep on bumping into each other when pushing a cart through the walkways…
Not to mention that there aren’t that much cashiers to service the volume of wholesalers buying there. Take a look at these long lines… and these lines were all closed… I have no idea why they decided to close at most 60% of the lines when there were still a lot of people lining up…
There is also only one elevator in the grocery area towards the parking lot, I had to wait in line for 15 min… then this old fart comes along and cuts into our line, thank you very much, so we ended up waiting for the next elevator, no sense in talking to these bullies because their ethnic stereotype brands them as most-likely-to-kill-you-because-they-fancy’s-your-shoes… hey, did I mention that the guys who carry your grocery to your car are assholes? old assholes… unfriendly & unhelpful sonsofbitches… and they insist on a tip… unlike the young ones at NCCC matina… I wish they would close that piece of real estate and turn it into a multilevel parking lot… that’s one way to earn money in Uyanguren.
So don’t go there unless you really have to… my wife and I had to go there because the Matina branch didn’t have the styrofoam plates we were looking for…cruddddddd
