What language do you think in? Not speak, but THINK? when you solve complex equations, are you speaking to yourself in Filipino or English? Just made me realize this after remembering my stint in Japan…
A friend and I were in Japanese class… then she realized something while we were practicing conversing… Japanese has almost the same sentence structure as Filipino… our problem was that, when we were in “learning” mode… we would switch to english… which was way opposite of Japanese and therefore made sentence creation more difficul.
Our logic step was, sentence generation in english, reverse that structure, translate it to Japanese… unlike if we thinking in Filipino: sentence generation, translate it to Japanese…
So back to the original question… what language to do you think in?…
Personally I use Engalog, not Taglish… because there is more usage of English words than Tagalog…
