While going through my local National Bookstore (yes we have that here too in Davao) I was gazing across the magazine racks for the latest edition of Summit Media’s Entrepreneur Magazine… of course while looking for it I gazed upon the other magazines on the rack…

I saw some FHM mags and some others that I thought that were in line with FHM (entertainment for the adult male of course)… instead, looking closer I noticed that they were actually techie magazines… but you couldn’t tell of course with the bikini clad women in front… It wasn’t just for one particular magazine, but for a lot in fact…

I guess with the advent of a lot of techie magazines cropping up in the local scene, competition get’s tough that publishers have to use other means of enticing readers… oh yeah, I buy it for the articles… hehehe…

Evidently my latest batch of 400 seedlings of lacatan aren’t as sturdy as the first 100 seedlings I got… I placed them under the sun for a day and a lot of them were sun scorched… according to the consultant, it looked like they were overdosed with this fertilizer I forgot the name of…

I have to say that because of this, I might lose 20% of the 400… darn…

But then there is still hope… I’m placing them far from the sun and giving them some TLC… I recently put up some netting for them to live under… hopefully till they gain their color again… from there I’m going to slowly ween them into sunlight conditions…
