Ok so having “retired” unexpectedly from my dream job to take care of problems in the land of birth has left me with a lot of time to think about what to do with my life… that is of course inbetween bouts of heavy lifting of beer & softdrink cases and stacking the shelves with freshly bought produce…
Definitely, I’ve been wanting to improve my PHP skills… done that, by programming this site… blood, sweat and tears helped finished that.. ok ok, less the tears as I enjoyed every minute of it… . and yet I am not yet thoroughly convinced with my programming skills… I want to take it to the next level… push the envelope so they say…
So what do I want to embark on next?… what else.. but create an open source project… only there can you see what you’re worth is… think about it… everybody see’s and can judge the quality of your code… with davaoexchange.com I can cheat by creating coding shorcuts because I know that the users will never have to worry about that… but with open source… welcome criticism…
Oh well, this is what happens when you have too much idle time waiting in doctors clinics…
Now I wonder what a good project could be?
