To infinity and beyond…
I picked up wifey and her sister at 11 PM from the Victory Liner in Pasay… I was expecting them to arrive around 7PM but since there were some stuff that weren’t accomplished, they decided to leave late…
I brought a car that day to ensure that if incase I had to do overtime I wouldn’t be late in picking them up. Good thing to, as my meeting ran a little bit late and the shuttle buses left already… Since wifey texted me saying that they were going to be late, I went home instead and slept like a frikkin log… woke up around 10 PM… talk about feeling woozy afterwards…
Another good thing? Traffic was nonexistent at that time… wifey said that there really was a noticeable benefit to the widened North Express lane… travel time to Baguio was cut down from 7 to just 5 hours… well, I’ll still remain skeptical about it… given that there aren’t that much people going to Baguio right now because of the fatal flu scare and I don’t think that the North Expressway is the main bottleneck in the 7 hour travel time…
Maybe some interesting news in the mix… wifey reported her being 4 days late… could it be???… do I hear the pitter-patter of little feet in the near future???… I hope so… so we can finally use that frikkin pregnancy test that we bought… hehehe
