Meridian, a telecoms company recently acquired by PLDT, is now offering wireless internet in the Philippines… ok… some select parts of the the Philippines…. that’s great!!!… too bad that I’m leaving manila in a few weeks so I won’t be able to avail of this service anymore…
I heard that they have in Davao though… I wonder if it will reach till the house?… hehehe… On a down side… that will be the death of some dial-up ISP’s… matira matibay… but then again… P800 a month is still pretty steep for most people…
For the muntinlupa area they offer residential plans, wherein they have a promo of P750.00 a month, bonding you for 1 year… then they charge you P500.00 for the installation fee. But you pay that only after 2 months, when you’ve decided already to avail of their service
