Going out… on a weekday…
I got a text today from my college friend that one of our college friends is coming in from Bacolod… he asked me if I wanted to join him in meeting him in Makati… I haven’t seen this guy in… what?… 7 years? or is it 8 already… these are my close buddies in college…
I asked wifey first if it was ok with her… but mostly because she was the one with the cash… yup… married life changes you… hehehe…
I hope I get to get some good tips from them on how to start a business… these guys are all businessmen… looks like I’m the only one employed and will be needing to get home for the early bus ride… hehehe… then again, I could play hookie… hehehe… *bad*… It will really be good to catch up on how each other is…
ahh… change… the only permanent thing in this world… the only “constant”?… oxymoronic ain’t it? … here’s to getting some good insight at today’s meeting… I mean… get together…
Speaking of change… I moved my laptop from the ergo ledge we are “encouraged” to use, to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome, to the bare and cold surface… of my desk… I miss typing on the laptop’s keyboard… you miss out on the entire laptop experience if you use the desktop keyboard… hehehe… well that exercise of course necessitated me to move my laptop lock as well as turn on my wireless networking, since the network cable is latched on firmly to my desk and is therefore immobile… well I’m not planning to be pulling any major data today so it’s no biggie…
