Tagaytay Escape…
Well this is the first time I went to Tagaytay with my wife… I have this phobia about going to tagaytay since my ex of 6.5 years left me 1 week afterwards we went their for the first time… so I decided to never bring her there for fear of losing her… hehehe… just a silly superstition on my part…
Oh well… the ink is dry enough in the contract to allow for a weekend jaunt eh? I can’t seem to understand why all of the sudden I’ve become the spur of the moment guy that I never was… jumping into a car without any plan nor map or at least knowing the direction is not me… Well that’s just what I’ve been doing since the time I got married… I guess, just knowing that my wife is there is enough to strengthen me and temper my anxiety to be always in control…
All I can say about Tagaytay… It’s not how I imagined it to be… ok my first trip there with my ex- was in the evening so I never really appreciated the view nor understood where we were, in essence, this trip with wifey was like my first time all over again… hehehe…
We went to picnic grove… not worth the 60 bucks I paid for the entrance fee and parking… not to mention I was worried with the car being jacked open… horror stories from other people’s blog… It wasn’t that cold either…
Palace in the sky…. it was a frikking shame… I can’t believe that with all the money that they are making with the entrance fee (15 bucks a pop) they can’t spend it on beautification… it stank like an unkempt bathroom… wait… it was an unkempt bathroom… to think that there were a lot of foreigners…
Ate dinner at Josephine’s… cost us about 600 bucks… well worth it, for the view and the food…
I got a call from EOB also, asking for help in looking for Datablitz… he and the guy I’m training were looking for C# books… gave them some directions then followed up on them in the afternoon… they got to where they wanted to go and got what they needed…
To cap off the day, I got a text from my thesismate… he said he bumped into my ex- at the podium… he was able to get my contact number… great to finally get in touch with him… we’ll schedule something in order to catch up on things.
Very tiring when we arrived home… but not tired enough to plug in this blog entry… hehehe
