From Davao… my mom sure got the shock of her life when she saw us… well i guess that’s the typical reaction from somebody who wasn’t informed that her son and his wife are coming home for the holidays… hehehe… well I got a lot of cooperation from everybody to not tell her… I sure hope the reaction was genuine… hehehe

Was able to give wifey a beach honeymoon by taking her to paradise island resort…it’s a white sand beach resort on Samal island… before that, well we got lost and almost got sent to the other side of that island paradise because we were uninformed of the procedure and took a ferry in the wharf… that’s because initially our objective wasn’t to go to paradise but just to look for a white sand beach resort in Samal… when we got on the ferry… alarm bells were ringing because we seemed to be the only tourists on that boat… not to mention that the next ferry was 6 am the next morning… like I wanted to go there… but not have to spend the entire evening there… we got out of that hot spot by exiting the wharf and going to Sasa. I was going on memory now because that’s where I knew the ferry for paradise island was based from what I’ve heard before… too bad that there weren’t any fishes for wifey to knock herself out snorkeling… next time, we might just indulge that ferry in the wharf…

Well, in a few days… I’m definitely passing my resignation… for the most reasonable of reasons… to try my luck at being an entrepenuer… as well as to take care of my mom…

A night after our arrival, my mom hosted a dinner for us in the Grand Menseng Hotel… nothing special, just buffet food… we had the ninongs & ninangs there… as well as the people that were very special to my family… it’s nice to have people like these as your God Parents or as witnessess to your wedding…

Nice to have a wifey who understands you… well it will definitely be a sacrifice for us… but well… you have to do what in your heart is ok…

Just make sure of course… that you have a back up plan…

This is the second day of my married life… feels good..

Time to think of my priorities…
